Digital Fingerprints
For clients who need to obtain Canadian Criminal Background Check in Canada
- RCMP Fingerprint Service: $68

FD 258/C216C Fingerprinting Card
For clients who need to apply to the FBI or a foreign country to obtain Criminal Background Check.

Inked Fingerprints
For clients who need to obtain Criminal Background using actual ink

International Services
For clients who need to obtain Canadian Criminal Background Check but residing outside of Canada

I need an appointment?
We strongly recommend that you book an appointment, however, we do accept walk-ins as well, but we will deal with our appointments first.
Walk-in:

8:30 am to 12:00 pm
By appointment:
Monday to Friday
8:30 to 4:00 pm
You can book your fingerprint or name check appointment Online or by phone at 587 316 3000.
When you book an appointment, we will send you a confirmation by email provided by you, which inform you about:
- Fees
- Processing times
- Required identification
- Documentation that you must bring to your appointment.
We have a free of charge parking lot with many spots available for our clients. Please check your confirmation, let us know any questions.
Types of identification
To perform the fingerprinting process, applicants should bring two pieces of valid government issued identification and one must be a photo ID.
- Passport
- Driver’s Licence
- Birth Certificate
- Canadian Citizenship Card
- Permanent Resident Card
- Certificate of Indian Status
- Immigration documents i.e. work or study permits
- Military Family ID Card (MFID)
- Record of Landing for Citizenship Applicant
- Certificate of Live Birth
- Nexus card
- It is recommended applicants have with them a letter or file number from the requesting source, if applicable.
- All identification must be current and not expired.
- All digital fingerprinting requests for Canadian Citizenship must include a letter from Citizenship and Immigration Canada. This letter must include the address for third party results and should have a CIC file number, which will be included in your transaction. Please ensure this letter is available during the fingerprinting application session.

We accept major credit cards, debit or cash at all of our locations.
Time to take Fingerprints
Our digital process is fast, efficient, clean and normally takes approximately 10 minutes to capture your fingerprints.
Results
For federal government security clearances, results will be sent back to the requesting federal department.
For all other applications, results can be sent directly to you or to a designated third party of your choosing.
How quickly would I get my Police Clearance?
Processing times for fingerprint-based background checks are determined by the RCMP. Typically, transactions where no criminal record is present are completed in 3 business days and then mailed out to the requested address. If a criminal record is present, the processing may take longer. Please consult the RCMP’s website for details on processing times.
*Please note that the RCMP is actually experiencing an unusual delay to regular processing times.

You must go to a Canada Service Centre for Biometrics. Please refer to the letter you received requesting biometrics for a list of service centers or visit this IRCC website https://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/where-to-give-biometrics.asp#where-to-give
Vulnerable Sector Search
You must go to the Calgary Police Service Office in the NE, only one location for vulnerable checks.
